Lisa MacLean - Lisa2Hats Knitting/Needle Felting.

My name is Lisa all my hand spun yarns, knitted and felted items are made from our own sheep's fleece. We have a flock of rare breed Teeswater sheep and I blend their unique lustrous curls with other breeds on the farm. Our flock is located in Kirkbuddo, Angus on our small family farm. My husband Stuart is the Shepherd, and he shears the sheep in the summer months. I then wash, dry, card and hand spin the fleece into yarns. I dye some of the yarns or fleece using both natural plant and synthetic dyes. I've recently ventured into wet and needle felting. Which opens up a world of new ideas.
